How Is Art-Historical Research Changing? A Laboratory of Expertise Bringing Together Archives, Technology and Heritage
Taking as its starting point Maria Clelia Galassi’s volume Una disciplina e tre ambiti di ricerca. Scritti scelti di storia dell’arte (1991–2018), the event will guide the audience on a journey from traditional art-historical research to the most innovative methods currently used to study works of art: from archival research and diagnostic investigations to new digital technologies applied to cultural heritage.

From the Archive to the Stage: Eighteenth-Century Women Poets Speak Again
Introduction by Matteo Navone (Editor of the GUP series I carteggi di Metastasio. Testi e studi)
Marco Capriotti, editor of the volume, will discuss with Johnny L. Bertolio (L’ha scritto lei, ma…) the role of research in bringing forgotten women writers back to light and the reasons behind their exclusion from the literary canon.
The event will also feature dramatic readings of selected poems by Livia Accarigi and Maria Fortuna, performed by students from ilFalcone Teatro Universitario di Genova under the direction of Angela Zinno.
