Waterlines è il titolo di una ricerca svolta su tema di Londra, il suo rapporto con l’acqua e i confini che essa potenzialmente determina, o ha determinato, all’interno della città. Proprio “confini”, infatti, è il tema dell’edizione 2019 del London Festival of Architecture al quale il gruppo di Studio, qui rappresentato, ha presentato una proposta per la realizzazione di un workshop da condividere con studenti dei corsi di design e architettura, ma non solo, per imparare a raccontare le loro osservazioni secondo le regole del linguaggio visuale. Il lavoro qui presentato raccoglie gli esiti di questa esperienza, di ricerca e di condivisione, resa ancor più interessante proprio perché condotta in un contesto, ambientale e personale, oltreconfine.  

Waterlines is the title of a research carried out on the theme of London, its relationship with water and the boundaries that it potentially determines, or has determined, within the town. In fact, “boundaries” are the theme of the 2019 edition of the London Festival of Architecture to which the studio group, here represented, proposed the realization of a workshop to share with students of the design and architecture courses, but not only them, in order to learn how to tell their impressions according to the rules of visual language. The work presented here collects the results of this experience, of research and sharing, made even more interesting precisely because it is conducted in an environment, even personal, across borders.
